Ministries at First Baptist Church of Alto

Our regular services at FBC are dedicated to expositional preaching and teaching. It is our conviction that the BIBLE is the Word of God. We work to grasp the intention of each Biblical text and apply it to the benefit of the church family.  Current Pulpit Schedule:

Sunday Worship 10 AM — The Gospel According to Matthew

Sunday Discipleship 11:15 AM —  A Study of James

Wednesday PM — Mid-Week Ministries

In addition to our regular opportunities for worship and instruction in the Word of God FBC provides a variety of targeted ministries designed to educate, edify and evangelize. Our weekly Bible Education Hour (Sunday School) offers age sensitive classes for every member of the family.  Adults and students gather in one of three classes offered each designed to lead students in the process of good Biblical observation, interpretation and application. Education Hour meets Sunday evenings from 6 to 7 PM.

AWANA

Our club meets during the school year for Children ages Pre K-6th grade. Awana is a proven program rich in Scripture memorization and dedicated to reaching and teaching boys and girls in atmosphere of activity and safety.

Teens

Our youth study God’s Word together each week on Sunday. Recreational and ministry activities are planned throughout the year.
